about

Nasty Streets is an imaginary dystopian soundtrack inspired by the film scores of John Carpenter and Goblin, the music of Cabaret Voltaire and Suicide, police detective procedurals, and San Francisco mayor London Breed.

Proceeds from this release will be donated to the Shanti Project, a nonprofit based in the Tenderloin and part of San Francisco’s 730 Polk Street collective, including San Francisco Community Health Center, St. James Infirmary, and Project Open Hand.

Shanti helps reduce isolation, enhance health and well-being, maintain human-pet relationships, and improve quality of life through volunteer and staff-led emotional and practical support services for some of SF's most vulnerable residents.
